Suriname

Suriname uses the Fiscaal Identificatienummer (FIN), a taxpayer identifier assigned by Belastingdienst Suriname to natural persons and legal persons. The original 2020 FIN Act specified an 8-digit FIN; a 2024 amendment removed that fixed length, and current Belastingdienst operational guidance shows a 10-digit FIN in tax-payment references.
