Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka uses the Inland Revenue Department Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) as the core tax identifier for individuals and entities. VAT, temporary VAT, SVAT and payment reference codes are tax-type or payment registrations built around the TIN and are not separate TINs.
