Iceland

Iceland uses the 10-digit kennitala as the tax identifier for both individuals and legal entities. Registers Iceland issues personal and system identifiers for individuals, while the Directorate of Internal Revenue's Company Register issues identifiers for legal entities. Iceland does not issue a separate TIN or tax number.

Fyrirtækjaskrá ríkisskattstjóra (Directorate of Internal Revenue Company Register)

Legal entities receive a kennitala through the Company Register, and that kennitala is used as the entity's Icelandic tax identifier.
