Chile

Chile uses the Rol Único Tributario (RUT) as its tax identifier for individuals and entities. For Chilean and resident foreign individuals, the Rol Único Nacional (RUN) allocated through the Civil Registry is the same number for tax purposes; legal persons, entities and certain non-residents register in the RUT maintained by the SII.
